Résumé

Même si l’histoire des mathématiques figure dans les programmes en Autriche, les professeurs n’ont que de rares possibilités de réaliser des projets historiques ou de discuter de développements. Grâce ses efforts acharnés, l’auteure de cet article, professeur dans le secondaire, présente les projets sur l’histoire des mathématiques qu’elle a pu mener en classe, dans une perspective culturelle et artistique, sur les thèmes suivants :
– Adam Ries
– mathématiciens autrichiens
– Leonhard Euler
– Géométrie euclidienne
– Georg von Vega et les logarithmes
– Examen de fin d’études – passé (celui d’Einstein), présent, futur.

Abstract

Even though the history of mathematics is required in the lesson plan in Austria there are only rare possibilities to carry out historical projects or to discuss developments. By strenuo us efforts as a grammar school teacher the author has realised some historical projects in the classroom, however.
This paper will give a brief out line of the project son the history of mathematics and focus on the problems and results. Indoingso, classroom experiences with finished projects as tools for an approach to cultures and arts are introduced and an overview of the following topics is given:

Adam Ries

Austrian mathematicians

Leonhard Euler

Euclidian geometry

Georg von Vega and logarithms

School leaving examination- past, present, future

The paper will also present an except of the pupils’ work.
