Cet article rend compte d'une expérimentation visant à améliorer la compréhension de l'intégrale définie (vue comme mesure d'une aire sous une courbe). Abstract This paper reports on an experiment to improve the understanding of the definite integral (as a measure of an area under a curve).
Inspiré par les travaux de didactique de Orton, l'auteur propose aux étudiants une suite de tâches se référant à la fois à la méthode des sommes de Riemann et à la méthode de Cavalieri-Wallis (qui intègre le rapport de Cavalieri et les techniques de Wallis).
Inspired by the didactic work of Orton, the author offers students a series of tasks referring to both the Riemann sums method and the Cavalieri-Wallis method (integrating the Cavalieri ratio and Wallis' techniques).
